Legendary TV actor Dennis Waterman has died at the age of 74, his family has confirmed.
Waterman was one of the most popular television actors of the 1970s in 80s, starring the
The Sweeney, Minder and Life and Loves of a She-Devil. In more recent years, he starred
in BBC's New Tricks alongside veteran actors Amanda Redman, James Bolam and Alun
Armstrong. In a statement, his family said he died today with his wife Pam at his side.
