Before we discuss bad music (only in my opinion) I would like to give a mention to a

performance from the past by Yoko Ono which I was unfortunately subjected to on a

recent TV programme....it was a stadium concert with Yoko approaching the Mike

backed by Eric Clapton on guitar...Keith Richards on Bass....and of course John

Lennon on guitar.....plus a big band behind them....next to the mike was some bloke

scraping away on a fiddle...then Yoko begins....she didn't actually sing she just

squawked in various octaves .... no words...no tune....it sounded like either a seagull

or a tom cat with its testicles trapped in the door.....added to which was the fiddle

playing at high speed into the same mike....it was unbearable and if I had have been

Clapton I would have walked off....what was going on?!!....to call it atrocious would be

a compliment.......but I suppose it gives certain folk the opportunity to "understand"

the message....the same folk who see so much art excellence in Tracy Emin's

unmade bed.....it's hard to believe what some people can get away with.....IT IS

RUBBISH!!

As for my worst song feature this week I would like to put forward The Smiths.....no

song in particular just anything by The Smiths.....Morrisey has to be the worst singer

and "composer" ever...with the exception of Yoko of course......the band are good it's

just Morrisey....it's as if the band go in the studio and rattle out a decent backing

track....then along comes Morrisey and sings the first thing that comes into his head

over it......so Vince the choice this week is yours....anything by The Smiths will be fine

with me because it is all diabolical.
