Yes, it rhymes...
and it isn't always true...
But this is the most common pattern I see in people who can't seem to create their desired reality or step into their new identity...
They're generally focusing on resisting what they don't want rather than focusing on what they want to create!
What you resist persists...
If you find yourself focusing on how nervous you are before a public speaking event ... focusing on how you don't want to be nervous but you are and this goes around and around in circles until this energy that you've fed into focusing on your nerves...has now turned into a panic attack! All because you were focusing your energy on resisting being nervous rather than creating the speaking experience you actually wanted to experience.
Does this make sense?
Your energy goes where your focus is.
So...
Are you focused on the right thing?
Are you focused on resisting a problem?
Or creating something new?
