World Bicycle Day 2021: Physical activity or exercise  is important if you want to be fit and healthy. Regular activity can  improve your quality of life and reduces the risk of developing several  diseases such as obesity, heart disease, cancer, mental illness,  diabetes and arthritis. Riding a bicycle regularly is one of the best  ways to reduce your risk of health problems associated with a sedentary  lifestyle.

Through  this dedicated World Bicycle Day, the UN urges stakeholders to  understand and raise emphasis on the benefits of cycling.

The day aims to draw people's attention towards the fact that cycling is  a zero pollution mode of transportation that is good for the  environment
