Women have made great sacrifices to build reputable careers in male-dominated industries. Women would scale down their femininity and abandon parts of themselves to be “taken seriously” or viewed as respectable peers. But in this day and age, can’t we do better than suppressing key, productive elements of our feminine essence? Shouldn’t we? This episode discusses the biases we’ve experienced in male-dominated industries such as Engineering and Finance and how we (women and men) can encourage each other to bring our full selves to work.
