What’s trending in Peoria Unified? Setting our students up for success! Desert Harbor is home to a myriad of programs designed to meet the needs of every sand shark who enters their campus. One of these programs includes the ABLE Program aimed at supporting students with intellectual disabilities and adaptive skills. In order to help each of these learners shine, different support mechanisms are put in place including those that help students communicate. Aiding in this work is Megan Bickford, Speech Language Pathologist, who helps her students become better communicators.
