On Slice 24 I don’t have far to travel as I head up the east coast to New Jersey and meet the gang at the wonderful Jersey Shore GAA. For many you might not expect to be chatting GAA with the home of one of the most iconic reality shows ever but here we are! I chat with 3 NJ men with serious Irish links. Matthew, Matt and Patrick all have a huge love for the game. Patrick tells about his time playing in both Donegal and marking Pat Spillane in NYC, the clubs history and rivalries, picking up the love of the game studying in Galway, girlfriends from Tipperary, Tallafornia and Jersey Shore on TV, being a Philly referee and the love for Michael Murphy, Peruvian Javier Montes playing hurling, playing with the NY All Stars in Croke Park, and some key questions like Atlantic City or Vegas and the most important one – are Snooki and Jwow better than Marty and Des?
