The Broadway industry has been plagued with its own problems when it comes to people in power abusing that power. As I pledged to not make this podcast a “toxic positivity” we are talking about Broadway and film/tv producer Scott Rudin and his well known history of abuse to his employees. After the recent article from The Hollywood Reporter, it looks like people are finally paying attention. Karen Olivo has departed her show, Actors’ Equity Association finally releases a statement. We’ll have to see what happens next.
