When people think of Star Trek, the main character of the Original Series, Captain James T. Kirk immediately comes to mind. The actor who portrayed him for over 25 years also comes to mind, William Shatner. Some say Kirk is a swashbuckler hero, others say he is a father figure to his crew. In this episode of Twin Cities Trekkies, hosts Wes Huntington and MacKenzie Flickinger begin the first of a series of episodes analyzing each central figure of all of the Star Trek series.
