The beginning of April 2022 saw the official trailer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, the series that begins on May 5. On April 5, 2022 Star Trek fans were treated to a fantastic surprise as fans everywhere found out that the rest of the Star Trek: The Next Generation cast of Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn and Gates McFadden would be joining the cast of the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard, set to premiere in 2023.
