In April of 2024, Paramount+ announced renewals and endings of Star Trek series. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds was renewed for a fourth season, but sadly Lower Decks Season Five (as of the time of publishing, still airing on Paramount+) was announced to be its final season. In this episode of Twin Cities Trekkies, Lars of the Treknicity Podcast returns and talks with Wes about the shorter seasons of Star Trek, and Lower Decks.
