The Scriptures were written in Hebrew to a Hebrew community and a Hebrew culture. The majority of people in the Bible were Hebrew not Greek. The majority spoke and understood Hebrew not Greek. If you were of Rome you were an Hebrew oppressor or an enemy of Torah and the Hebrew people. The new testament or renewed covenant teaching that says it was written in Greek is one of the layers of false teaching by Christianity along with many other things like YHWH'S name is lord, Yahshua was crucified on a Friday, that the Messiah's name is a Greek pagan name Jesus, that the Sabbath is changed to Sunday. These and many more things we were taught that do not line up with the original Hebrew Scriptures. I pray this teaching helps you see this.
