New week means new guest with more incredible journey’s! Tonight we connect with another amazing hooper who has a lot to share! A native of Queens, NY this outstanding hooper attended the storied Benjamin Cardozo High School where he played for legendary coach Ron Naclerio! Quickly making a name for himself around the city and earning the nickname ‘Killa Cam’, this brother earned back to back 1st Team All-City honors! Before taking his talents to prep school and shining at Notre Dame Prep for a season, this hooper earned respect throughout the basketball world by competing and winning ‘Nike Battlegrounds’ which aired on MTV! After averaging 19 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals at Notre Dame Prep he went on to earn a full basketball scholarship to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University! As a freshmen he made a name for himself with a breakout performance against the University of Maryland where he scored 17 points, handed out 6 assists, and grabbed 3 rebounds earning NEC Rookie Of The Week! He went on to be the starting point guard for FDU for the next 2 seasons and was the consummate leader of the team! Continuing to play the game he loves, he also played for the South Jamaica Kings in the highly competitive ‘The Basketball Tournament’.
