We’re back this week with another coaches edition of ‘Are We Live?’ .. .I love tapping in with former players that are now influencing the game from the sidelines! Our next guest hails from Brooklyn, NY! Growing up in Coney Island this outstanding hooper attended the hallowed Grady High School where he competed against the top talent in NYC! After suffering a heartbreaking loss in his senior year to Erasmus High School in the PSAL Championship game, this basketball lifer garnered a 4 year basketball scholarship to play at Hofstra University for the great Jay Wright! While hooping at Hofstra he had an amazing career! He was selected back to back years(‘99 & ‘00) to the All-American East second team however in his senior season he was American East Player Of The Year while also being selected to the conference’s first team! The train didn’t stop there as this brother went on to play a season in the NBA for the Indiana Pacers and the Chicago Bulls! Continuing to follow his passion for the game he went on to play 8 seasons overseas in Argentina, France, Germany, Poland, and Venezuela! After a stellar playing career, this brother went on to embark on a coaching career! Starting his coaching career overseas he came back to the states and was an assistant coach in the NBA G-League for the Erie Bayhawks and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants!
