The two wizened critics are joined by friends new and old: Eamon, a learned 'Star Wars' enthusiast well-trained in the academic arts, and Alan, the trusty rogue from the 2021 special who is determined to have his revenge.

Discussion over sound effects leads to space politics, space politics leads to the plot, the plot leads...to suffering. But can this 'official' first step into the 'Star Wars' galaxy be redeemed, or does it remain on the dark side of cinema history?
