Artist-astronaut teacher Mike Mongo is the author of The Astronaut Instruction Manual, host of Mike Mongo’s Astronaut Adventures on YouTube, and founder of Mike Mongo’s Astronaut Job Camp at SaxaVord Spaceport. He is also co-creator of Cosmic Paws and the Muttniks NFTs project which honors and celebrates the pioneering canine explorers such as Laika who led to space for humankind. Recently, Mongo partnered with launch provider United Launch Alliance to found the Humannaires Initiative, to recognize student successes during the Covid-19 as space mission training.
