Amy Johnson is the fitness ministry director of First Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and has dedicated her 36-year career to educating, training, and improving the health and well-being of others. Amy is also the head coach for Rock Steady Boxing Hot Springs. She directs the non-contact boxing program for individuals fighting Parkinson's disease. Her life's purpose is to inspire others to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and body. She is married to her adventure partner A.J. Johnson. She is the mother of two adult children and Yaya to four grandchildren. Amy has been teaching Bible study classes for over 20 years. In her free time, she trains and competes nationally and internationally in the sport of triathlon (currently the 2024 national champion in the 50-54 age group.) She also loves to climb 14,000-foot mountains in Colorado and continually seeks adventures that challenge her physical body to its uttermost limit.
