Winter Austin is the author of multiple books, including her newest, Straight to the Kill, the 3rd offering in the Benoit and Dayne series. A lifelong Mid-west gal, Winter grew up listening to stories from relatives while sitting around the campfire or dinner table. A veteran spouse, and mother of an active duty soldier, her experience with the military through family and friends dates back to WW2.
