Her performances are effortlessly electric while encompassing the tenderness of Adele, and the fierceness of Stevie Nicks. She has shared the stage with The Roots, Anderson Paak, Bilal Oliver, Alice Smith, Chance the Rapper, Madonna, and many others. YahZarah also was also the featured performer on Anthony Hamilton’s “Playing it Cool Tour” at the House of Blues. In addition, she's also had the honor of performing, at the request of the Italian government, for the inauguration of President Barack Obama. Having started her career lending her unique soprano to Erykah Badu’s Band “Camp Wisdom," she would stay for seven years singing backing vocals and providing vocal arrangements for some of the most beloved songs on her “Mama’s Gun” release. She then went on to become a member of Rock Legend Lenny Kravitz’s band for four years on his incredible “Strut Tour” and putting down some considerable vocals in his rockumentary “Just Let Go.” Her last release, “The Ballad of Purple Saint James “was considered for a Grammy in 6 major categories. And her most recent single “Running was featured in episode 8 of Spike Lee’s She’s gotta Have it season 1.
