The Black Culture Podcast sits down to interview Yolanda Burt as she takes us on the historical journey of Black History before America. We go all the way back to the motherland and around the world, eventually landing in present-day America.
To say that African history has contributed to American culture is an understatement. Our influence and cultural achievements are considered amongst the top exports in the US, with most of us not even knowing a fraction of how we've influenced the world.
And with all of our contributions, we are still demonized, oppressed, brutalized and discredited while trying to heal, fight cultural battles on multiple fronts and find our identity. Watch this incredible interview as educator and humanitarian, Yolanda Burt, takes us on a journey.
