Abigail was most familiar with The Strokes’ fourth album, Angles, featuring the epic opening track Machu Picchu.
Abigail read into the lyrics of Soma trying to find a connection to the fictional drug from Brave New World. Barry shared that there is an actual drug called Soma (Carisoprodol), a muscle relaxant with addictive potential! Neither Barry or Abigail believed that the band was referencing the lingerie company of the same name!
Abigail compared the meaningful comma in Alone, Together to that in Take a Break from Hamilton. Barry, of course, compared it to the comma in the Second Amendment…
