Pastor Mike Weaver for the second Sunday in Advent explores the themes of fear, hope, joy, and peace in his sermon from Isaiah 11 and Romans 15. He emphasises the importance of a relationship with Jesus as the source of true hope, which quells all earthly fears and bring a true peace based upon the joy of the Lord. This Christmas time isn’t that really what the world needs, to come to a righteous fear of the Lord, which will move people beyond their worldly fears, and into a saving relationship with Jesus.
