'Generous giving!!' Does the thought excite you or make you shudder, not just being asked to give but to give generously, sacrificially. There are
hallmarks of a generous giver and the apostle Paul outlines them for us as he, addresses the believers in Corinth. In a nutshell it is the overflow of a heart
completely surrendered to the Lord, and as such giving is a joy, a gift, a grace to be embraced not shied away from for no one gave more than Jesus, but
the believers in Macedonia surprised us all they gave despite being hard pressed and poor - how come? They knew the grace of forgiveness, the joy of salvation, the love of God filling their hearts they were rich in all the ways that really matter. Can we learn and be encouraged to rethink how we approach giving from their example?'
