Description

Youth Pastor, Lee Whitecross on his last Sunday at GMC (he is off to train for full-time ministry of Word & Sacrament!) delivers a sermon reminding us of the transformative power of the Gospel and its natural flow in our lives. He explores Paul's 1st letter to the Thessalonians (chapter 1v4-10) outlining three key checkpoints of the Gospel: it is received, it redirects, and we run with it.

The Gospel isn't just words but rather a life-changing force that must be both spoken and lived. Lee challenges the listener to consider how your life testifies to the power of Christ, in both deed and in your words. The message encourages us to be bold heralds of the Gospel, unashamed and unapologetic in sharing our faith, even in the face of adversity. It's a necessary and timely call to return to the roots of evangelism, where the focus is on Christ and His message, not just relying on new methods or fresh expressions that may dilute the core truth.
