Today we are going to consider Mary’s Song known as the Magnificat which is her song of worship and praise to God as she realises with wonder and enormity her place in the plan of Salvation God has for the world he loves so much. Mary a humble servant of no reputation or status is chosen because of her heart for God and this song is the overflow of what is in her heart. She is a woman who worshipped, a woman who knew the Word of God and a woman who testified to the need of a Saviour. Her song helps us to examine our hearts to see what comes from us in times of difficulty and uncertainty.
