In the series, 'The Teachings of Jesus Christ the King' we are consider the five teaching discourses in Matthew's gospel, having already considered 'The Sermon n the Mount' (ch.5-7), and Jesus' 'Instructions to Missionary Disciples' in ch.10, we now move onto chapter 13 with the 'Parables of the Kingdom'.
In this first episode Pastor Mike introduces what parables are and why Jesus used them, answering the question the disciples alksed of thier rabbi, Jesus... 'Why do you speak to the people in parables'?
