One of the greatest devices of the Enemy is to bring doubt to the redeemed, questioning the validity and power of salvation. As a result, many Christians are impotent to serve the LORD faithfully because there are lingering doubts. Peter's words here gives us great comfort as the Sovereign God is not only powerful to save, but also faithful to sustain believers to the end.
