The Book of Joel is a short reminder that God is a just and righteous God. In this message, Pastor Joey zooms into Joel 2:12-32 and unpacks both the reality of sin in the world, the consequence of sin in the world, and yet the love and justice of God. In spite of our sin, God offers a lifeline of hope before we are consumed by the wrath of God. One of the greatest motifs in Joel is the pronouncement of the "Day Of The Lord". It is a promise that God rewards those who are in Him (in Christ for NT believers) AND punishes the wicked who have rejected Him. We are reminded that God's LOVE and His JUSTICE work in cooperation. God cannot be loving if He were not also just! Message is part three in our series, "God In The Ruins" from the Minor Prophets. Join us on Sundays at 11 AM for Worship Celebration during this series and learn more about how God can restore us from the ruins through Jesus Christ!
