The gospel calls us to live distinctly different! As we journey on in 1 Peter, we discover nuances of that gospel challenge how we live, do family, and engage with one another. In this message, we look at how the gospel changes our interactions. We are exhorted to show sympathy, brotherly love, and humility (3:8). We are admonished to set a guard of wisdom over our tongue (3:9-11). We are told to suffer courageously with gospel perspective (3:13-14). As a result, then we are able to speak the gospel into someone's life (3:15-17). Essentially, the tension we all face is in regards to our rights. The gospel demands that we seek a greater good, the salvation of souls over our own opinions, comforts, and petty conflicts! Message is part 7 of the "Different" series in 1 Peter.
