December 15th is the unofficial annual kickstarter to trades in the NBA. This is when anyone that was signed *without* bird rights during the off-season is eligible to be traded. Front offices often wait until this date so there are more options to trade for + salary matching purposes. But...it might start early this year. The rumors have started way early and we've even had some reports of multi-team trades falling apart at the last minute.
