Episode 8: Intro to Adaptogens
In episode 8 I discuss Adaptogens, also known as herbs and botanicals that can help your body “adapt” to stress (in its many forms). I discuss the mechanism of action for adaptogens (aka how they work). I explain why it is important to understand HOW stress impacts you specifically and why that is important fro picking the right adaptogen for your constitutional / individual type. I discuss specific adaptogens more in-depth in the Botanical Bri segment.
