Description

In this episode we will be discussing Cultivating Diverse Leaders; focusing both on how a business can help enable and encourage a more diverse pool to become leaders and also what the individual can do further their career and position.

My guests are:

Elisa Hebert

Elisa serves as VP of Engineering Operations for Fairwinds - a Kubernetes security and governance software company. She has a background leading large teams in full-cycle customer and business operations, and software sales and delivery from nonprofit through enterprise / Fortune 100. Her focus is operational efficiency and delivery excellence, balancing the triad: team, customer, company.

Gosia Syta

Gosia Syta is a personal impact expert and the founder of the communication skills consultancy Walk Your Talk. She works with leaders and emerging leaders in tech, finance, energy and law, helping them to express themselves with confidence, clarity and conviction to increase their profile and step into more senior roles.

Using her Personal Impact Blueprint, Gosia shows her clients how, by making small consistent changes to the way they communicate - both verbally and nonverbally - they can influence, engage and persuade their audiences in high stakes situations such as presentations, client meetings and sales pitches.

Gosia’s sessions, which draw on her experience with high impact training, public speaking and improv, are, in one of her client’s words “the perfect mix of instructional and interactive”, and provide the participants with practical tools for making an impact every time they speak.

Gosia works with corporate clients (BP, Ticketmaster, Costar, Thomson Reuters), the British government (BEIS) and startup founders. She has been a mentor on the Business Growth Programme run by London and Partners, the official promotion agency of the Mayor of London, and is currently a trainer with SILL, Startups in London Libraries, where she supports early-stage and aspiring entrepreneurs with design and delivery of their startup pitches.
