Only 2 games left in the NFL season!.....Well, 3 if you count the pro bowl, but I don't cuz that shit ain't much of a game with how little they try haha, but only the conference championships remain outside of that. And after a crazy week of divisional round games that certainly will stand the test of time as one THE greatest, if not ONE of the greatest divisional rounds ever, we might be bound to see a repeat in wild finishes.
We've got the Cincinnati Bengals heading to Arrowhead Stadium for a rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs, where the Bengals prevailed the first time around. The Chiefs secondary has been a liability all season, outside of Tyrann Mathieu, who could be out in this game. It will be FASCINATING to see how they hold up against Ja'Marr Chase, who caught 266 yards on 11 catches and 3 tds the first time around against them. The Bengals also returning to the AFC title game for the first time since 1988 when Boomer Esiason was leadin the crew.
And the Rams are squaring off against familiar division foe in the 49ers for the third time this season. The first two times go to Deebo Samuel and San Fran, but the Rams have been clicking lately offensively, especially based on the spectacle that Matt Stafford and Cooper Kupp put on the Bucs secondary this past week. Will that be enough to take the game the third time around? Tune into to hear what the crew has to say about these games in this week's episode of the OTH NFL Podcast, presented by Overtime Heroics and sponsored by SimBull!
