Dave and Justin and Ashley discuss Cobra Kai, the #1 show on Netflix this week. Here’s the official synopsis: Thirty four years after events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, a down-and-out Johnny Lawrence seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now successful Daniel LaRusso. As Gen-Xers, Dave and Justin have never been more pandered to in their entire live. But they both agreed that it was worth it, even if Dave was personally attacked by the choice to have Johnny end up in the trades. Ashley hated episode 1, but enjoyed the series more as it went along. But she's just not able to feel the same love for Johnny and Daniel as Dave and Justin do. I mean, Dave ended up taking karate and pursing a life-long love of martial arts after seeing the original film for Miyagi's sake!
