My 11 year old daughter just asked ‘What’s a Wookiee?’ leading my partner to remark on her cultural deficiency. To what extent should we push the pop culture icons of our youth onto today’s youth? And specifically is it important to know what a Wookiee is? (P.S., she knows who Chewbacca is).
