"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." ~ Acts 1:8
The disciples realized that they would miss Jesus when he went away from them, now that he had been appearing to them for the past forty days. But Jesus told them that he was sending an Advocate to give them power, and that they were to wait for it to come to them in Jerusalem. We may still find ourselves looking up to Heaven at the place where Jesus ascended, but we do not need to be socially distanced from Jesus. Our "Now What?" question is to wait for this power, to be filled with it, and to ascend to new heights as we minister in Jesus name.
