"They say, 'Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are cut off completely.' Therefore, prophesy and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: I am going to open your graves, and bring you up from your graves, O my people; and I will bring you back to the land of Israel." ~ Ezekiel 37:11-12
Do you feel lost, or that you have lost a lot, especially this past year? As Pentecost begins, we celebrate the birthday of the church, when the Spirit was poured out on the waiting disciples. You may need a fresh pouring of the Spirit as well. If you feel cut off from God, and that your soul is dried up like dry bones, open your heart to God and ask to be renewed with the Holy Spirit. Let us believe in the power of the Spirit to make things new.
