Whiffed you in the wind at the quay
Felt your hair in the monsoon drizzle
I know you will show up, one day
If I really yearned for a life together
With streams, woods & birds at play
Frozen rivers, wintry air in our lungs
Your cosy log-hut will stop me one day
If I really felt the melody in my heart
Felt desires in a broken season, grey
Parts of me, scattered in your skies
That song will come to me one day
If I really saw you, as part of my dream
My caravan, tribe, lighthouse, my bay
Lifetimes, destinies separate you and me
Our pathways will intertwine, one day
