Would you be free and not safe
To not be a citizen but a lonely sage
Row a little boat in the rough sea
Fly in a rainy night, unable to see
Would you be curious, not full of pride
Sit still and marvel, as world speeds by
Feel the child in you, that’s barely alive
Your creativity awaits, ready for a flight
Would you be a lonely shore, not city of lights
Live your own joy, not somebody’s life
Blossom like moonflower in the night
Embrace your fears, they’ll help you fight
Would you surge ahead and not retreat
To not sail in harbour but in a stormy sea
Feel the light when the dawn is still dark
Your caravan awaits, when will you embark ?
