We remember a time when parents were actually parents. You know, teaching you and guiding you through your young life with principles like discipline, respect, morals, standards. All the things that were once seen as value. But now, parents strive to be their child's friends. Allowing their children to do whatever they feel. They have adopted this hands off approach to raising their children, like kids have the natural ability to figure things out on their own and become better human beings. It's sad but most modern day parents think this way.
