Society would have you believe that marriages don't work but the truth of the matter is people don't want to put the work in.
Most relationships are build on the same principles, accountability, communication, understand, commitment, etc. We, as adults do not know how to maintain any healthy relationships so of course marriages won't work.
Aside from that, everybody wants to be the boss or seen as in charge. Nobody wants to follow. A household built like that will never last. It's kind of hard to play a role when you don't know what it is.
Marriage is a union from God and we believe that is the key component missing from todays relationships. a lack of proper foundation so anything goes.
