It's the midterm election so that means IT'S TIME TO VOTE and the country would have us believe that unity and equality are some of the main focuses but what's confusing is the fact that we are trained that there is nothing more American than Separation and everything about this same country tells us to pick a side.
Whether its politics, religious beliefs, moral beliefs, social status, economical status, or any other part of everyday life is geared to categorize us.
Even though people have similar beliefs or may look like you doesn't mean you agree on all things so remember that when you hit the polls and vote. Who fits the values of you and your family regardless of race, sex or gender?
