It really is not on you to ensure that family or friends make you a priority, sometimes they will put things before you.
And that is ok, it is not done to you out of spite. They just do not realize what they have in you. It is not your job to prove it to them either. Yes it stings but that is ok, soon you will continue down your path and the sting will not be as bad.
One day they will realize the mistake, it is not your job to do that either.
The Universe is funny about these things and you just need to do you.
