Tuesday night was the first step that I took toward actually fulfilling my purpose in life. My big goal is that I will be speaking one day at a Ted Talk. I attended my first Toastmasters meeting Tuesday night and I had a blast.
I shared on my LinkedIn my feelings of anxiety prior to going to the meeting. It was just my old self trying to claw its way back into running my life.
The point of this episode is to share my experience and to show that if you want to achieve anything you have to go out and do it. There is no way you will ever get what you want by sitting around and waiting for it.
I spent a lifetime waiting. Yesterday marked a time where I finally am following through with what I want.
