This weeks guest on the ‘Hope Sessions Podcast’ is my wonderful Mother. She is my BIGGEST encourager, supporter and the closest person in my life to me. She is a living legend and if you know her, then you know I am telling the truth.
I have called this episode “Redemption and Restoration is REAL”. You will hear the very real, raw and honest reality of what life was like growing up in my home where addiction, fights, tension and chaos were present at all times. Me and my Mom share many real life stories of what it was like growing up with my Brother trapped in a deep, dark addiction. It affected my family in numerous ways, all of which you will hear in our conversation. but not to glorify the events that happened in our family but rather we do this to publicly honour our Savior Jesus for the INCREDIBLE WORK OF GRACE that he has started in my family and is continuing to be the author of the Redemption story in my family.

“Never lose sight of the person they were before the addiction. The minute you start losing sight of that person, you will become bitter and end up becoming fed up which results in giving up on them!!”
