Governor Greg Abbott has issued a disaster declaration in Medina County south of the Austin area as the Das Goat Fire continues burning thousands of acres - a Red Flag warning is in effect for all of Central Texas again today.

Austin ISD's Pride Week celebrations went on as scheduled over the weekend, despite objections from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Lots of UT sports from the weekend: Texas Longhorns women's basketball wins their Sweet 16 matchup with Ohio State 66-63, but is eliminated in their second consecutive Elite Eight appearance by Stanford, 59-50.

Texas baseball loses a series of three to Texas Tech, two games to 1, the first of which went to the Red Raiders in a rare walk-off steal of home, but the last of which ended in a 12-1 shellacking of Tech by the Longhorns.

UT men's and women's 800 meter relay teams scored goal in the 800 meter relay, and the women won the 400 as well at the Texas Relays.

Former UT golfer Scottie Scheffler beat Kevin Kisner for the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play Championship yesterday, earning #1 status in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Texas State University has recieved a 1.7 million dollar grant to continue ongoing efforts to clean up the Texas coastline.

Eanes ISD marked the opening of its new Aquatics Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday.
