In the Youth Fusion Elders series we engage the long-time and effective leaders of the peace, disarmament and related fields, in a dialogue across generations, topics and disciplines. Through creating a conversation between active youths and their inspiring predecessors, we wish to open up an inclusive space for learning, listening and, above all, sharing.
In the fourth episode of the season, Youth Fusion Member Arthur Duforest had the pleasure to sit down with Prof. (em.) Andreas Nidecker MD, prominent Swiss physician, nuclear disarmer and President of the Basel Peace Office. Join Arthur and Dr Nidecker for a dynamic conversation touching upon his experiences of bringing doctors, lawyers, activists and politicians into conversation with each other to promote effective and workable nuclear disarmament initiatives, and his efforts at engaging youths in climate action, nuclear disarmament and the political process.
