After their massive win in New York City on Tuesday over #2 Texas, Illinois laid an absolute eggs at home on Saturday with a 74-59 loss to Penn State. Craig Choate and Logan Lee discuss in this Illini Postgame Show from No One Asked Us.
The Nittany Lions (7-3, 1-1) shot lights out in Champaign and controlled the whole game on their way to their first Big Ten win. Illinois was able to cut the lead down to five with 12 minutes let, but Penn State made three 3s in the span of about 45 seconds to extend it back to 14 and it never got closer.
Illinois is off for a week before a couple more non-conference games. Alabama A&M comes to town on the 17th for a 3:00 CT/4:00 ET start on BTN.
