She holds an Electrical Engineering degree from UBC, and she designed network intelligence ASICs (Custom Integrated Circuits) that fuel backbone networks. After earning her MBA in Management of Technology from SFU, Paola went on to take on various positions in Product Management, Canadian Healthcare Technical Consulting, and Award-Winning Enterprise Healthcare Sales.
Paola's entrepreneurial spirit and deep knowledge of technology led her to found her first technology startup in the Industrial Internet of Things. But it was in the recovery from a motor vehicle accident that she found her life’s passion - neurotechnology - and founded Sens.ai.
Paola defines success as having the freedom to do meaningful work joyfully while having time to enjoy the outdoors and her family - skiing, paddleboarding, hiking and biking. She lives in the resort town of Whistler, Canada with her husband and their son.
