Though we all are confronted with the evil of “selfishness” and “love for the world”, our battles are different. The differences are as a result of the different evil tendencies we inherit from our lineage. These evil tendencies come with associated evil spirits which cause repeated cycles of anomalous occurrences in our lives. These occurrences usually pose as harmless, even sometimes as an advantage, but they ultimately limit us in many ways. The complexities of the consequences of these evil tendencies are such that we must look to the Lord for a sure way out. Though we have an inclination to these evils, we confirm ourselves in these evils only when we love the evils, rationalise them and do them.
